We are thrilled to share that Michael S. Ryan Elementary was featured in the January 23rd edition of the Laredo Morning Times! The "Palm Kids" section highlighted our school's incredible dedication to literacy. A huge congratulations to Mrs. Kristine Villarreal’s 5th Grade Class for being recognized as the top Accelerated Reader (AR) class at our campus! With a staggering 2,671.6 points earned, these students aren't just meeting district goals—they are shattering them.
Our librarian, Alma Lerma, also shared insight into how our library program fosters a love for reading through personalized book selection and exciting end-of-year celebrations.
