They competed today at the Buc Days Competition in Corpus Christi against 40 teams from all over Texas — a perfect warm-up before UIL State next week! Team 4848 Chaos and Team 8284 Soap Dispenser teamed up and absolutely crushed it — taking 1st place! They even brought home $2,500 in cash prizes! Way to go, champs — we’re so proud of you! Over 500 LISD student-athletes from Cigarroa, Martin and Nixon High Schools, and Cigarroa, Lamar, Memorial, and Christen Middle Schools were honored with a Bronze, Silver or Gold Medal for their perfect attendance, A Honor Roll, and positive attitude. The Triple “A” award is designed to encourage LISD student-athletes in developing strong academic skills, positive behaviors as role models, and the ability to demonstrate a positive attitude.

In honor of Financial Literacy Month 💰, Falcon Bank proudly hosted students from CHS and Sabas Perez Early College High School for a special presentation 🎓. Students had the opportunity to learn valuable skills in budgeting, saving, and planning for their financial futures 🏦💳.
