Hello LISD Parents and Families, As the holiday season approaches, we want to remind you how crucial school attendance is to your child’s academic success. Understandably, this time of year can be busy, but we want to urge you to remember how missed school days around the holidays can impact your child’s progress from kindergarten through high school. We know that family time is precious and essential, but it’s important to remember that extended vacations can the send the wrong message about the importance of regular attendance. LISD to host surplus auction Laredo Independent School District’s Fixed Assets and Custodial Department will host a surplus auction on Saturday, December 14, at the LISD Fixed Assets Warehouse located at 2201 Santa Isabel St. The viewing of items will start at 9:00 a.m. with the auction starting promptly at 11:00 a.m. Cabello Recovery and Auction Services Inc., will conduct the auction on behalf of the district. Some of the items to be sold are desks/tables, file cabinets, tools, refrigerators, and miscellaneous items that are obsolete to the district. Every item is sold as is. All sales are final.
